Advising airport owners and operators evaluate major transactions including the FAA Airport Improvement Partnership Program, long term terminal leases, and other private sector investment options. BJSA can assist with project due diligence, reviews of business plans and proposals, negotiations of business terms, presentations for stakeholders, and development of pro forma financial projections.
Financial Performance Analysis
Reviewing historical airport performance, benchmarking of airport revenues and expenses to peers, comparisons of cash and debt levels, non-aeronautical revenue analysis, comparisons of CFC, car parking rates, and other airport access fees, reviewing tenant leases for compliance with key terms, analysis of overall cash flow and compliance with bond covenants.

Two of BJSA’s consultants have Big 4 accounting firm experience and can assist with accounting and compliance related tasks such as reviews of financial and management reports, journal entries and recording of fixed assets, preparation for upcoming audits including PFC audits, reviews of PFC disbursements and reporting in SOAR, developing Corrective Action Plans in response to FAA queries, and analysis of accounting data.
